I built this because I saw a gap. Pilots spend hours in the full flight simulator practising handling skills and system failures, but the structured decision-making that surrounds those failures? There is almost nothing out there to practise that on your own.

I am a simulator instructor and General Manager at Simaero Johannesburg, a global full flight simulator training organisation. I spent 14 years as a commercial airline pilot and served as Fleet Captain on the CRJ. This tool comes from that experience. The same frameworks I use when I train pilots in the sim, made accessible to anyone who wants to get sharper at managing the moment when things go wrong.

Before You Buy

Q What device do I need?
The simulator works best on desktop and iPad or tablet. It is entirely web-based. No downloads, no installs. Open it in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge and you are ready to go.
Q How long is a session?
As long as you like. Think of it like a question bank. The idea is high repetition until you are confident with the management and decision-making process. Some pilots run a quick 15-minute scenario. Others work through multiple sessions in a sitting. There is no time limit.
Q Is this approved or endorsed training?
No. This is not endorsed by any training or aviation authority and is not designed for use in any operational or flying environment. It is a ground-based learning tool, purely for practising structured decision-making processes in a safe, non-operational setting. It complements your airline's formal training. It does not replace it. For learning purposes only.
Q What's the difference between RMM and T-DODAR?
Both are structured decision-making frameworks used in airline operations. RMM (Risk Management Matrix) is a 7-phase linear process. T-DODAR (Time, Diagnose, Options, Decide, Assign, Review) is a cyclical framework used by British Airways. The simulator fully supports both. Choose whichever your airline uses.
Q Why does it cost $29?
I genuinely wish I could make this free, and that is the long-term goal. But the AI scenario generation and debrief engine run on API infrastructure that has a real cost. The $29 covers that. If you cannot afford it and genuinely feel this tool would help you, reach out to me directly. I will find a way to help you access it.
Q What if I am not satisfied?
If the simulator does not meet your expectations, I will return your money. No questions asked. I would rather you tell me what to improve than walk away disappointed.
